Download the miner.

One miner for phones, desktops and servers. It runs projects you join from the Necter Store and earns test NECTA on Ethereum Sepolia. Testnet tokens have no monetary value.

First launch

  1. Open the DMG and drag Necter Miner into Applications.
  2. Open it once. macOS will say it can’t verify the developer, because testnet builds are not notarized yet. Click Done.
  3. Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to Necter Miner.
  4. Confirm with your password or Touch ID. From then on it opens normally.

First launch

  1. Download the APK on your phone and open it from the notification or your Downloads.
  2. When Android asks, allow your browser or file manager to install unknown apps (Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps).
  3. Tap Install. If Play Protect warns about an unrecognised app, choose More details → Install anyway.
  4. Open Necter Miner. By default it mines only while charging and on Wi-Fi.

Servers: CLI and Docker

The headless miner runs on Linux servers as a systemd service or in a container. It only makes outbound connections, and its dashboard stays on 127.0.0.1:7878 unless you turn on the password-protected remote view.
