Is Necter a blockchain?
Section titled “Is Necter a blockchain?”Not in the usual sense. Necter is a network that runs Hive Bytecode (.hbc) modules deterministically and agrees on their results with signed receipts and validator quorums. Value (collateral, rewards, project registration) settles on Ethereum (Sepolia during the testnet).
Does test NECTA have any value?
Section titled “Does test NECTA have any value?”No. Testnet tokens have no monetary value and the testnet may be reset.
Can a module call a web API or read the time?
Section titled “Can a module call a web API or read the time?”No. Modules have no network, clock or randomness, so every node computes the same result. Fetch data in your backend, pass it in the input, and verify it inside the module (signatures, hashes). Pass timestamps in the input.
Which language should I use?

Who can see my task inputs?

Can I mine on several devices?

Can I mine from a phone without draining it?

When do I get paid?

What happens if I decline or miss a task?
